Spot round-1 timetable for DU UG admissions 2024 has been revealed; applications open on September 18

The announcement stated that in order to participate, DU UG seat candidates must select “Spot Admission” on their dashboard.

The University of Delhi announced the timetable for the undergraduate program’s Spot Round-I allocation and admissions procedure on September 16. There are 72,263 confirmed seats in total.

The timetable posted on their official website, admission.uod.ac.in, states that the spot admissions application process will open on September 18 at 10 a.m. and close at 11:59 p.m. on September 19.

On September 21 at 3 p.m., the seat allocation will be announced.

The Spot Round-I admissions procedure is open to all applicants who submitted a Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 application but were not accepted into a college until September 17.


The announcement stated that in order to participate, DU UG seat candidates must select “Spot Admission” on their dashboard.


Candidates will have until September 22 at 11:59 p.m. to accept the offer when a seat is assigned. It further stated that the deadline for completing the online payment to reserve a ticket is September 24 at 4:59 p.m.

Additionally, based on their category, candidates will only be allowed to choose program-college pairings where there are open seats.
Candidates must accept the seat they are assigned in a spot round. It stated that if they don’t comply, they will lose their right to be admitted to Delhi University and won’t be able to apply for the CSAS(UG)-2024 admissions cycle.

Candidates should be aware that during the Spot Admission rounds, there will be no way to upgrade or remove a seat. According to the announcement, the seat allotted in a given spot round is final and cannot be upgraded in any upcoming admission rounds.
