CBSE 2025 Board examinations: Students in Classes 9 and 11 who plan to sit for the 2025 board examinations can register starting today, September 18, according to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). October 16 is the deadline for students in Classes 9 and 11 to turn in their registration forms without incurring a late fee. Students at schools connected to the CBSE can register on cbse.gov.in.
Only those students whose names and details are provided by their respective schools will be permitted to appear in the classes 10, 12, and board exams in the 2025–2026 session, according to the official notice published on cbse.gov.in. Schools must first register on the portal that has been made accessible for this purpose, though, before they can start sending in these facts.
Additionally, schools must verify that the pupils are enrolled in their program on a regular basis, are not associated with or from any unapproved schools, and are not registered with any other school education boards in addition to the CBSE.
The board has instructed the principals and educational institutions to accurately enter the candidate’s name, the names of their parents or guardians, the subjects’ names, and all other pertinent data.
Numerous organizations and state governments give out scholarships based on the students’ financial situation. The CBSE stated that schools should not require parents to provide their ITR or any other form of income verification, and that information regarding the parents’ yearly income may be gathered as disclosed by them.
